"3 stages" to eliminate Corona in Spain
Spain received two planes carrying protective equipment and tools, on Wednesday, while the Minister of Health revealed 3 stages through which to deal with the deadly Corona pandemic until its elimination.
The confirmed cases of coronavirus have crossed the 100,000 mark, and deaths have been the highest in a single day as a result of the disease.
Health officials said that the country set a record number of deaths of 864, bringing the total number of deaths to 9053 cases, while the number of injured rose to 102,136 people.
But officials said the increase in deaths "as a percentage" was less than in previous days.
"The central issue is no longer related to whether or not we have reached the peak of the disease , " said the health emergency official, Fernando Simon, who himself was infected with the Corona virus this week .
And Spanish Health Minister Salvador Ella announced that the rate of increase in infection rates slowed down and after the peak period had ended, "the second stage will push the indicator downward, and then the third will eliminate the virus."
Most of Spain's territory has been subject to general isolation since March 14, when all workers stayed home, except for necessary labor after the emergency was tightened. But the virus continued to spread.
The Ministry of Defense said that two planes, one from China and one from Turkey, loaded with supplies including masks , protective devices and antibacterials , landed, on Wednesday, at a military airport near Madrid.
The government said it had sent 5 million pieces of protection to health workers in the regions and regions during the past 48 hours.
